You Do You! (What Do You Have To Lose?)

What stops you from well, being you?

•Is it that you don’t want to cause problems or conflict?

•Is it that you don’t want the spotlight on you or to be known as “difficult“?

•Is it that you want to be liked and if you share your true self, you might not be liked?

•Is it that you have spent so much time trying to fit in everyone else’s “boxes” of who you are “supposed” to be that you no longer know who you are?

Would it help a little to let you know you aren’t alone? Unfortunately, this isn’t all that uncommon for women.  We are taught at a young age (or should I say we have been — hopefully the girls today are being taught differently🤞🏼) not to act out, to be nice, not to cause problems, that it’s important for others to like us, not to have the spotlight on us. Basically, we are damned if we do and damned if we don’t!

•Everyone is not going to like you. It just isn’t possible. There will always be someone who doesn’t like you so why not be you?

•There is nothing wrong with standing out, being seen, or causing a little ruckus - especially if it’s something you are aligned with and strongly believe in.

•Shine! 💫 Be seen! Let people get to know you and see your gifts. Just because it’s easy for you does not mean it is easy for others. Your gifts impact others. Don’t deny people that opportunity!
