This Is Why Everything Feels Heavier Right Now
I want to offer you something I've been sharing with the women I support - because this time of year can feel heavier, sharper, or more emotionally confusing than usual.
Nothing is wrong with you.
You're not losing momentum or falling behind.
You're not “too sensitive.”
And you're not imagining it.
You're in what I call your Adjustment Era - a season where your system temporarily feels stretched because it's recalibrating.
During times of transition, your nervous system works harder to process:
• expectations
• emotions
• responsibilities
• memories
• identity shifts
• holiday pressures and expectations
• family time and expectations
• the pressure of the year ending
And when that load increases, your clarity can dip.
It's not a malfunction - it's an adaptation.
So if you've been feeling tired… reflective… overwhelmed… or emotionally tender, please know this:
You're not unraveling.
You're adjusting.
