Your Value Isn’t Based On Your Relationship Status

Valentine's Day can be sweet.

It can also be loud.

Loud with comparison.

Loud with expectation.

Loud with the quiet question:

Am I behind?”

So let me say something clearly today.

Your worth is not relational.

You are not more valuable because someone chose you.

You are not less valuable because someone didn't.

You are not more complete because you're partnered.

You are not lacking because you're not.

Your worth was never assigned by another person.

It's inherent.

Even if you forget that sometimes.

Even if you've been taught to measure it.

And self-love isn't bubble baths or affirmations you don't quite believe yet. It's this:

♥️ Speaking to yourself without contempt.

🩷 Making decisions that don't abandon you.

💜 Refusing to shrink just to be chosen.

❤️ Trusting your own pace.

Whether you're deeply in love, healing from heartbreak, dating, divorced, remarried, or intentionally single - today is not a referendum on your value.

It's just a day.

If today feels tender, I see you.

If today feels neutral, that's allowed too.

If today feels joyful, beautiful.

You are already enough.

Exactly as you are.

Today.

Happy Valentine's Day to you,

xo, Denise
